Accessibility Statement
We are constantly committed to making our website accessible to all people, regardless of circumstances or abilities, also in compliance with Law no. 4 of January 9, 2004 (“Stanca Law”) and Legislative Decree of August 10, 2019, no. 106 implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102.
The objective is to ensure equal access to digital services for all citizens and to promote broad digital inclusion, taking into account the specific needs of individual users.
This accessibility statement applies to the website: cortimanifattura.it
Compliance Status
Partially compliant – This website is partially compliant with the requirements set out in Annex A of the UNI EN 301549:2018 standard (WCAG 2.1) and the international standard Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, conformity level AA, due to the cases of non-compliance listed below.
Non-accessible Content
The main non-compliant or partially compliant areas are:
- Decorative or photographic images lacking alternative text (criterion 1.1.1 – WCAG 2.1);
- Text overlaid on images with insufficient contrast (criterion 1.4.3 – Minimum contrast 4.5:1);
- Some interactive elements are not fully navigable via keyboard (criterion 2.1.1 – Keyboard);
- Some links may be ambiguous or not meaningful in context; therefore, WCAG success criterion 2.4.4 is not met;
- Some buttons may be ambiguous or not meaningful in context, especially when multiple buttons with the same label or accessible name are present on the same page; therefore, WCAG success criterion 2.4.6 is not met;
- Some user interface components (e.g., buttons, links) have insufficient contrast with adjacent colors, making it difficult to identify and distinguish interactive areas; therefore, WCAG success criterion 1.4.11 is not met;
- Videos or multimedia content without subtitles or transcripts (criteria 1.2.2 and 1.2.3);
- PDF documents not yet compliant with ISO 14289-1:2014 (PDF/UA) specifications.
These issues are currently being addressed through an ongoing technical remediation plan.
Planned Corrective Measures
We have planned a progressive accessibility improvement plan that includes:
- Review of images and alternative text;
- Optimization of color contrast and harmonization of the visual palette;
- Compatibility checks with assistive technologies (screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice commands);
- Updating PDFs to accessible format (PDF/UA);
- Training editorial and technical staff on WCAG 2.1 criteria.
Preparation of the Accessibility Statement
